A Season of Reward and Beauty

Beautiful days. Beautiful nights. Great weather for playing and sleeping. Fall is a time for harvesting the rewards of our work. I hope you are enjoying the bounty resulting from your efforts.

Reaping the fruits of our labors can be a very rewarding time or a very frustrating time. Often we are frustrated with our lives and what we are doing. This frustration may lead us to sow seeds that grow a briar patch rather than a festival garden. Are you reaping what you have been sowing? Perhaps this is a time for examination and introspection as well as for gathering in.

Living with Intent and Direction
Are you living the law of attraction?
bobby

I'm sure most of you have heard the story of the boy at the shore, picking up sand dollars, one at a time, and throwing them back into the ocean. As he is dutifully finding the sand dollars on the beach, a passing adult stops to talk with him. The adults asks him why he is doing it, what difference it will make, the boy answers as he throws another sand dollar, "It made a difference to that one."

Many times we are so overwhelmed by the "big picture" that we lose sight of the present moment. We often consume our time with what we should have done, or what we should be doing. We are so busy worrying about the myriad of possibilities that we forget there is a possibility to take that first small step in making a difference on the the local, personal level. worrying about the past or the future, we don't have time for the now. But right now is all that matters.

Think about it. Right now is yesterday's future and it is also tomorrow's past. Right now, in this present moment, . . .

Holiday Stress and Anxiety

While you are reaping the bounty of this holiday season, why not treat yourself to therapies that can reduce the stress and anxiety in your life? Anxiety about work, about home relationships, or about finances can lead to inability to concentrate, altered sleep, disrupted relationships and poor work performance. Some people have panic attacks and cannot identify an event which initiates them.

Our therapies which include acupuncture, massage, polarity, shiatsu, and tuina can be of benefit in calming the mind and calming the spirit to allow healing to occur. I often end an acupuncture session with some tuina or East Indian facial massage as an adjuctive healing modality.

You regain a sense of calm and control. You have fun and enjoy your friends and loved ones.

Give yourself a treat and try it.

At Dynamic Pathways Wellness Center we know that your life will go in the direction you point your energy.

When your time and mind are focused on what you truly desire your heart will have no choice but to make those things appear in your life.

Do not be distracted by the obstacles to your heart's desires. They are merely opportunities to pause, reflect and learn. Maintain the quality and quantity of your attention on your true goals.

Be well until our next visit
